Copperplate Calligraphy Workshop

Copperplate, a commonly used name to describe the English Roundhand from the 16th century, is characterised by an open flowing hand and contrasts of thick and thin strokes derived from the metal pointed nib. There is a surge of interest in calligraphy in recent years, particularly with this font as it has a wide appeal in wedding invitations, place cards and greeting cards. This series of workshop will introduce basic strokes, lowercase and uppercase alphabets of the Copperplate font as well as connecting them to make words and sentences. > Details
