Organized by Savantas Liberal Arts Academy, the “Assessing the Russian-Ukrainian Conflict from Traditional Chinese Wisdom Perspective” onsite / online seminar was held on 12 July. The seminar was hosted by Mr Alex Wong, Policy Director of Savantas Policy Institute. Mr Peter Cho, lawyer, was the guest speaker.

To begin with, Mr Cho introduced what traditional Chinese wisdom means to different Asian regions and the background information of classical Chinese philosophy including Legalism, Philosophy of War, as well as Guiguzi and School of Diplomacy. He then guided the participants to observe the situation of Russia and Ukraine from perspectives of legalist Han Feizi’s political strategies, The Art of War of Philosophy of War’s military strategies, and Guiguzi’s School of Diplomacy’s astuteness, along with various cases. During the presentation, the participants had active interactions with Mr Cho.
