Overview

This course will explore different aspects of Chinese social and intellectual history in Medieval China (3rd – 10th century AD). Topics related to art, religious studies, economics, politics and philosophy will be discussed during the seminars. A comparative approach will be applied to let the students know how the issues are related to their daily lives. Genuine art pieces which were made during that period will be used as teaching materials.

Eligibility

18 year old and above, Interest in Chinese Culture

(University degree and work experience is a plus)
