Talks, visits and workshops: 17  July 2017 – 4 August 2017; every Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Residential camp: 29-30 July 2017 (Saturday and Sunday)

Graduation ceremony: 5 August  2017  (Saturday)

Time

Talks: 10:00-13:00 (2 talks per class)

Visits and workshops: afternoon (around six times)

Activities:

1. Talks on social topics, Chinese and Western cultures, technological development, etc.  Speakers * include:

– Mrs Regina Ip, Principal of Savantas Liberal Arts Academy

– Dr Louis Shih,  dermatologist and Vice-principal of Savantas Liberal Arts Academy

– Prof. Cheng Pei-kai, Chairman of  Intangible Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee

– Prof Jonathan Choi, Assistant Professor in Department of Electronic Engineering (Biomedical engineering) , CUHK

– Mr William Chan, an internet application and software development expert who formerly worked at Google

– Mr Legward Wong, Founder of social enterprise “Home of the Elderly”,  “Ten Outstanding Young Persons” Awardee

– Dr Yanki Lee,  Co-founder of Enable Foundation; Founder and Former Director of HKDI DESIS Lab

– Dr Ray Cheung, Director, CityU Apps Lab

– Miss Lo, Former Assistant General Manager, Global Communication, Tencent

– Dr. Hui Ching, Founder of Hong Kong Zhi Ming Institute

2. Visits to meme hk, Hong Kong International Airport, and CLP Power Academy

3. 3D printing and coding workshops

4. Residential camp at Jao Tsung-I Academy: career sharing, presentation training, group coaching, etc

5. Group project work: Students will be asked to work in groups under the guidance of instructors to identify a social issue and formulate a solution. Those who produce excellent work will receive awards.

Fee: HKD 1,800*^

*With an additional $200-deposit refundable upon fulfillment of program requirements; students with school nominations and financial needs could apply for fee reduction
