Overview
The aim of this course is to promote traditional Chinese culture to the general public, and to engage more people in the art of Chinese painting. This course includes the use of brushstrokes, ink and color and the composition of pictures. Students are expected to master the basic skills of Chinese painting and be able to finish a piece of artwork.

Ms. Chuang is experienced in teaching Chinese painting and calligraphy. She learnt to paint from renowned Hong Kong artists Mr. Lee Yue Hong and Mr. Chui Tze Hung. Her works have been exhibited in several painting and calligraphy exhibitions in Hong Kong and Macau.

Materials and Tools
Please prepare the following materials and tools for the lessons:
1. Xuan Paper
2. Chinese painting colors
3. Ink
4. Palette
5. Brushes
6. Brush cleaning container
Students can either bring their own materials and tools or purchase them from the instructor. There is no fee remission for course material fee.
Tuition
The tuition fee is $1000 for the entire program. In addition, there is a $200 deposit, which will be returned to students with an 80%+ attendance rate at the end of the program. The total of $1200 will be used to reserve a place in the course.
