Overview
This course has two main components.
1) Chinese culture: learning about ancient wisdom and cultural heritage through a study of traditional food, fashion, art, and architecture.
2) Chinese literature: students will be familiarized with the vocabulary and context of Classical Chinese text as well as modern pieces, which will help them tackle related questions in public examinations.

Eligibility
All Form 3-6 students (or equivalent) are invited to apply. Strong Form 1-2 students (or equivalent) will be considered on a case by case basis.

Requirements & Grading
Grading will be based on class participation and assignments. Participants who attain a score of 80% or above will receive a Certificate of Excellence.
Tuition
The tuition fee is $900 for the entire program.
There is also a $200 deposit, which will be returned to students with an 80%+ attendance rate at the end of the program. The tuition fee will be collected in monthly installments. The first installment is due a week after the student is accepted into the program or before the first class, whichever comes first.
SLAA is fully committed to making its courses accessible to students from all socio-economic backgrounds. Full or partial fee remission is available to students who require financial assistance. If you would like to apply for fee remission, please indicate accordingly on the application form.
