Overview
This course has two components:
(1) Creative writing: mastering semantics and diction, and through reading essays and novels, how to choose topics, plot, and write, improving students’ ability to write in public examinations;
(2) Chinese classics and contemporary literature, allowing students to understand the rich culture and history of China through readings on history, literature, and philosophy, improving the critical reading skills for public examinations.

Eligibility
All senior secondary students (i.e. Form 3-6) or of equivalent education background are encouraged to apply.

Tuition
The cost is $800 for the program. SLAA is fully committed to making its courses accessible to students from all socio-economic backgrounds. Full or partial fee remission is available to students who require financial assistance. If you would like to apply for fee remission, please indicate accordingly on the application form.
There is also a $200 deposit on top of the tuition fee, which will be returned to students with a 80%+ attendance rate at the end of the program.
